Overview

The Knowledge Agent is a conversational AI that searches your knowledge collections to answer user questions. It engages in natural conversation, searches when needed, and provides answers backed by source information.

How It Works

  1. Understand Question: The agent analyzes the conversation to understand what the user is asking
  2. Search Knowledge: Generates search queries and looks through your selected knowledge collections
  3. Generate Answer: Creates a response based on the information found, including source citations
  4. Continue Conversation: Can ask follow-up questions, handle greetings, or route to other nodes when appropriate

  • Conversation context length - Amount of chat history to include
  • Personality instructions - Defines how the AI interacts

Temperature guide:

  • 0.0-0.5: Focused, deterministic, predictable
  • 0.5-1.0: Balanced between creativity and consistency
  • 1.0-2.0: Creative, varied, exploratory
