How to have your data removed from Universal Chatbot.
When you connect a messaging account to Universal Chatbot, we store the access that connection grants us so we can receive and send messages for your chatbot. You can have that access removed in either of two ways:
Either route gives you a confirmation code. You can check the status of a request at any time by visiting the link Meta shows you, or by sending us the code.
We forget the grant itself: the access token for the connected account and the Meta user identifier that recorded who connected it. The connection stops working, and the workspace owner is told so they can reconnect if the disconnection was not intended.
It does not delete the conversation history belonging to the workspace that used the connection. Those messages are the business's own record of its customers, kept under the retention periods in our Privacy Policy, and a request from one connected account is not that business asking us to erase them.
To delete a Universal Chatbot account and the data belonging to it, including conversation history and knowledge base content, email [email protected] from the address on the account. Section 4 of the Privacy Policy describes what happens and how long it takes.
We process those conversations on behalf of the business that runs the chatbot, so that business decides whether they are deleted. Contact them directly. If you cannot reach them, write to us and we will pass the request on.
