Install and connect the SupportBuddy browser extension to start receiving AI-powered suggestions in Intercom.
The extension only activates on Intercom pages. It does not run on other websites.
Your administrator will provide you with a connection code. This code securely links your extension to your team's SupportBuddy.
You should see "Connected" with a green indicator. You're now ready to receive suggestions.
The extension icon shows your connection status:
Connected and working. Suggestions will appear when you open conversations.
Connection error. Click the icon to see details and retry.
If you see an error, here's what each message means:

| "Connection expired" | The connection code is no longer valid | Ask your admin for a fresh code |
| "SupportBuddy is disabled" | Admin has turned off SupportBuddy | Contact your admin |
| "Invalid connection" | The code is malformed or incomplete | Re-copy the code carefully |
| "Connection error" | Network or server issue | Check your internet and retry |
Click Retry Connection in the popup to attempt reconnection. If the problem persists, contact your administrator.
If you need to disconnect (for example, to connect to a different workspace):
Disconnecting will stop all suggestions until you reconnect. Any cached suggestions will be cleared.
