Tag Conversation

Human-in-the-Loop • tag_conversation

Add or remove the conversation's tags

Overview

The Tag Conversation node labels the conversation with tags from your workspace's list, such as Complaint or Card fraud, so your team can see at a glance what it is about and narrow the inbox to it.

How It Works

  1. Add tags: The tags to put on the conversation, separated by commas, such as Complaint, VIP or {{intent}}
  2. Remove tags: The tags to take off, written the same way
  3. Continue: The flow carries on through the output handle

Tags come from your workspace's own list, which owners, managers and admins keep under Settings → Support → Conversation tags. A name that is not on the list is skipped rather than added, and names match regardless of capitals. A tag the conversation already has stays as it is, and removing one it does not have changes nothing. When a tag is both added and removed in the same step, it is removed.

Use it in a trigger, for example on Handoff activated to tag each handoff with the reason the bot found, or in the main flow after an Intent Recognition step.
